Dr. David Holt has been married to Dede for almost 30 years and they have four children. He has been a pastor for over 27 years. David has earned degrees from the University of Georgia (BBA; 1983), Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (MDiv and ThM, 1990) and Trinity International University (DMN, 2005). Pastor David served as a college pastor for four years at Grace Church, Eden Prairie, Minnesota; the Senior Pastor for 17 years at the First Evangelical Free Church, Onalaska, Wisconsin; and the Pastor of Discipleship at Watkinsville First Baptist for four years. He is the author of two books: “Meeting You Where You Are” and “Pastoring with Passion.”

Jimmy Bamberg has been a pastor for 45 years, and for the past 10 years has served as Pastor of Counseling and Care Ministries at First Free Church in Onalaska, Wisconsin. He has been married to his wife, Susan, for 42 years, and they have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. He has an undergraduate degree from Dallas Baptist University and a graduate degree from Southwestern Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his family and riding his motorcycle. And, after ten years in Wisconsin, he is loving the warm weather of the south again!

Jerry is a graduate of Asbury Seminary with a Master of Divinity. He also has a certificate from the American Association of Christian Counseling in addiction recovery coaching. He has been a church consultant in North Georgia for over 20 years in several areas of church growth and evangelism and has consulted with over 250 churches. His wife Phyllis is a LPC and a Christian counselor in Athens, Ga. He was the Executive Director of Victory Home, men’s long term recovery facility, Tallulah Falls, Ga as well as Board Chair of The Healing Place of Athens, a Christian Alcohol & Drug Rehab Facility and Homeless Shelter for Men, Athens, GA. Jeff has served in the worship ministry for 25 years, leading God’s people in worship, hosting conferences on worship, and giving concerts at home and abroad. He has also led numerous short-term missions opportunities in Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Central America. Jeff is the founder of His Idea, Inc. (www.hisidea.org) and has recently authored a book on worship, which is scheduled for release soon. He is married to Leigh and they have three daughters. He recently moved to the Athens area to work with the Athens School of Ministry and Worship Arts (acmin.org), as well as to serve as Living Hope’s Worship Coordinator.

Kevin Stout graduated in May 2014 from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance. While attending UGA Kevin was actively involved at Watkinsville First Baptist Church. He led an elementary small group for two years before leading a middle school small group for a year. He was involved in various campus organizations where he participated in evangelism events and helped equip college students in making disciples. He is passionate about training students in whole-heartedly following Jesus Christ while encouraging them to own their faith!

Jarrett Fletcher will graduate with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Georgia in May 2016. He has been a part of the Navigators campus ministry throughout his college career, heavily involved in discipleship, worship leading, and bible studies. The Lord led him and his fiancee’, Jenna, to Living Hope Church just a few months after we planted, and has proceeded to guide him into this role as a College Ministry Director. His life motto is the Navigator slogan, “To know Christ, and make Him known..” Jarrett hopes to utilize the disciple-making tools he has learned from the Navigators to equip college students with the ability to follow Jesus daily, share their faith, and discover God’s will for their lives.

Judy is married to her beloved husband, Mark, of 33 years. They are parents to Christa and Josh, and in-laws to Hannah. Judy is a life-long educator, teaching elementary age all the way up to The University of Georgia. Most recently, she was a principal at a local Christian school. Judy received her B.S.Ed. from Georgia Southern University, her M.Ed. from UGA, and her Ed.S. from Lincoln Memorial University. Her life mission is to live out Jesus’ greatest commandment -“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all you mind… and love your neighbor as yourself…” (Matthew 22:37-39), and living by the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Judy’s great passion is to serve others. Judy is on the advisory board of Covenant Care Adoption Agency in Athens. Judy loves leading mission trips, sports, hanging out with family and friends, and being outdoors.

Danny is from Athens and attended Cedar Shoals high school. His previous jobs have included installing car accessories, painting, and building houses. He received Christ in 1998 and has been involved in several churches before Living Hope. He has volunteered at the Sparrow’s Nest Ministries and previously been the maintenance person at the First United Methodist Church. Danny has also helped with a church-plant in Augusta.
