A TYPICAL SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE
First-time visitors are welcome to park in any of our three on-campus parking lots. Under the pavilion of the Worship Center, amenities such as coffee and tea are available at no charge for your enjoyment. Volunteers are waiting at the Welcome Center to answer any immediate questions regarding the service. Children’s Ministry volunteers are stationed at the Living Hope Kids check-in counter to provide information regarding the Sunday morning Children’s Ministry program. Volunteer greeters are posted at the doors to hand you a bulletin and answer any questions. You are free to sit anywhere in the Worship Center you’d like!
Children remain with their parents for the first quarter of the adult service. Just before the sermon, Children’s Ministry volunteers and a security officer escort children across the parking lot to the Generations’ Building for Children’s Church. Children of all ages are welcome to attend the adult service if their parents so desire.
A fifteen-minute pre-service prayer takes place in Room 3 of the Worship Center and is led by members of our Prayer Team. Visitors and guests are welcome to participate! The service begins with the Worship Team leading us into worship with a mixture of traditional and contemporary songs. Afterward, Pastor David delivers an expository message, preaching verse-by-verse through a chapter of Scripture; he typically preaches through a whole book of the Bible throughout the year. He concludes with a Q&A segment during which visitors and church members alike are welcome to text in or ask questions in person. At the end of the sermon, the Prayer Team is available to pray with and for you in regard to any need. A baptism or a time of corporate prayer often occurs at various points throughout the service as well, and communion is served on the first Sunday of every month. Services are live-streamed and archived through the Living Hope Church Facebook and Youtube pages. Communion is served on the first Sunday of every month.
Parents are encouraged to pick up their children from the Generations’ Building after the benediction. First-time visitors and recurring guests are invited to meet Pastor David in front of the worship stage, and/or come to the Welcome Center for additional information and a free gift.
